Project Overview
Portland Opera is a company based out of Portland, Oregon that produces and hosts an array of operatic performances. During the pandemic, the opera company rebranded in preparation for their new season. The pandemic prompted the company to pivot from in-person-only performances to include digital productions within the season launch. Portland Opera took advantage of this new addition to the previous website and aimed to optimize the entire web experience.
The goal was to use the new branding to restructure and modernize the website while implementing an intuitive digital-streaming experience. I performed a content audit of the previous site to determine user pain points and potential opportunities. I was personally responsible for the creation of the information architecture, wireframe layouts, and overall design of the website. I worked with the development team to implement specific scroll animations and unique functionality features throughout the web experience.
